In fiscal year 2024, Congress protected veterans by preventing the Veterans’ Administration from taking your guns away if a fiduciary was appointed. Since the bill did not remove the names of those who were already in NICS, Congressman Crane introduced an amendment to remove the more than 250,000 veterans who were wrongfully placed into NICS.
